IMAG1553Non-governmental organization AKOS (Association for Culture, Education and Sports), relatives and friends of the 27 year old Hava Šljivić-Dovadžija, who was killed on 1 April in Nedžarići, when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Semir Rastoder, asked from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton and judicial authorities to fulfill the requests introduced during the Sunday protest and to discover the facts and to clarify the circumstances of her death.

They call on media to objectively report in order to disable any deceiving attempts and disavowal of the public.

Also, they require that photos of the members of the family of Dovadžija to not be published.

“We do not give up on this case until we achieve truth and justice. Our means and methods of operations will remain within the civilized limits and democratic rights to express dissatisfaction, despite all the accusations and provocations”, said in a statement of AKOS.

In the statement it is said that in the next few days citizens of Sarajevo will have the chance to sign the petition in order to support the requests for clarification of the circumstances of the death of Hava Šljivić-Dovadžija and the petition can be signed online as well.
