njuskaloThe play Njuškalo by Anthony Shaffer will take place today at the Sarajevo Youth Theatre, with Mario Mario Drmać and Edin Avdagić.

‘’What do you get when you mix the best trailer of Agatha Christie, verbal brilliance of one Tom Stopard and the social criticism of John Osborne? An eerie atmosphere, funny dialogues and mystery?! The result is Njuškalo, one of the most frequently performed pieces of Anthony Shaffer, which has several TV and film adaptations’’, said in a press statement by the Youth Theatre.

Eccentric writer of detective stories Andrew Wyke invites Milo Tindle, the lover of his wife in his home in order to convince him to commit robbery, expecting it to result in insurance fraud.

What begins as a typical melodrama about cheated lover moves into witty and sparkling dialogue in a dark game, in which one of the characters in the end completely loses his identity.
