The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Radovan Viskovic, stated that this morning the reference laboratory from Belgrade took samples of oxygen that is used for medical purposes in RS and that the findings should be ready during the day.
“I believe that we will get the results during the day, and the indicators for the citizens of Republika Srpska will be announced at the press conference,” said Viskovic.
As he stated, when the finding is ready, “the citizens of Republika Srpska will find out who is lying, and who is telling the truth.” Viskovic said that the session of the Government of the Republika Srpska lasted an hour yesterday, and not seven, as some deputies claim.
The Government of the RS instructed the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the UCC RS to inform the Government about the performed quality control.
The mayor of Banja Luka, Drasko Stanivukovic, did not submit criminal charges against the former mayor, his associates and other officials of the Republika Srpska to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office today, as he announced earlier.
Stanivukovic told reporters in front of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office that it would not be too late if he submitted those criminal charges next week, and announced new ones because, as he said, he delivered oxygen to the University Clinical Center (UCC) of Republika Srpska by a company that has a license to import only technical and not medical oxygen ”.
He added that he had evidence that the oxygen was supplied by the company “TGT Tehnogas” from Laktasi, which “is not registered for the internal trade of medicines”.
“Medical oxygen is a medicine, but this company is not registered for the sale of medicines. This company does not have a permit to work with medical oxygen “, said Stanivukovic.
Stanivukovic also claims that the UCC paid 1.3 million BAM for the delivery of technical, not medical oxygen. He says that, according to the information he has, in this case, criminal acts were committed against human health, against official duty and against legal traffic, Srna news agency reports.
