The Republic of Poland has provided additional protective equipment to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the fight against the pandemic, which will be delivered to Sarajevo by military plane today.

It is about 32 pallets in which there are protective suits and protective masks, it was announced from the Ministry of Security of BiH.

The handover of the equipment will be attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to BiH Jaroslaw Lindenberg and representatives of the Ministry of Security of BiH.

Ambassador Lindenberg clarified that this is assistance that is being realized within the NATO Center for Coordination of Pandemic Responses. Pointing out that this contingent includes 19,200 protective suits and 8,500 protective masks, Lindenberg thanked the BiH Ministry of Security for the excellent cooperation in the realization of this shipment.

“This assistance is an expression of Poland’s solidarity with the countries of the Western Balkans during the pandemic and proof of the very friendly relations we have,” Lindenberg said.

Brkovic thanked the people and government of Poland for their significant assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Thank you for this help, which contains 32 palettes of protective masks and suits that will come in very handy in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in BiH,” Brkovic said, adding that these are FFP2 and FFP3 protective masks.

Poland has already sent aid to BiH three times to fight the pandemic, in May and June last year and in March this year, when surgical and protective masks, uniforms, antigen tests and disinfectants were delivered, Fena writes.
