Police Officers carry out Operation code named “Foreigner”

Police officers from the Department for Combating Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operational action codenamed “Foreigner”.

Based on the obtained court order, a search of a passenger motor vehicle was carried out in the area of ​​the Center, as well as a personal search of 29-year-old A.Y.R.G., during which several different packages of substances associated with narcotic drugs were found: marijuana – more than 500 grams, speed – more than 100 grams, cocaine – more than 40 grams, MDMA – six grams, methamphetamine – five grams, LSD – 14 stamps, ecstasy tablets – 25 pieces, a digital scale, as well as other items of interest for the investigation.

Also, a passenger motor vehicle “Škoda Octavia” was temporarily seized.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238, Paragraph 1, Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), A.Y.R.G. (1997), a citizen of Sudan, was deprived of his liberty.

The 29-year-old suspect is undergoing criminal processing in the official premises of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton announced.
