Pope Francis greeted the Attendees at the Sarajevo International Airport

Pope Francis 2The Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, arrived to Sarajevo. Pope Frances greeted the multi-member delegation led by the member of the Presidency of B&H, Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljic and Apostolic Nuncio, Luigi Pezzuto, who  welcomed him at the Airport in Sarajevo.

Pope Francis passed through the red carpet accompanied by Dragan Covic, and shake hands and greeted youth who sang to him at the airport.

Pope stayed longer than it was planned, in a talk with children from various cultural and artistic associations.

We remind that the Airplane of Air Italia with the delegation from Vatican, led by Pope Francis, landed at the airport in Sarajevo at 8.57 a.m.
Pope FrancisWith this, a historic day for our country began. This is the third pastoral visit of the head of Catholic Church o our country, and the first one of Pope Francis.
