Positive Story: Migrants are Players and Fans of Football Club Jedinstvo Bihac!

Domestic and world media testify to the honest relationship of Football Club Jedinstvo Bihac with migrants who are players and fans, and with whom footballers share happiness, dreams and desires in everyday life, as evidenced by the matches of Jedinstvo Bihac in the first league of FBiH 2018/2019.

As cited in the statement, fans of Jedinstvo Bihac opened the gates to matches and helped migrants to find relief, hope and happiness, as well as support, training and playing for their club from the youngest age of youth school to A team.

NK Jedinstvo Bihać is a Bosnian professional football club based in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first football club in Bihać was founded around 1919 or 1920, with the exact date being unknown due to a non-payment of a membership fee to the football association.

NK Jedinstvo was registered wih the football association for the first time in 1937. The club’s stadium is called Pod Borićima Stadion and it can seat 7,500. The fans of NK Jedinstvo are called Sila Nebeska.

 

NK Jedinstvo spent several years in the Yugoslav Second League between 1979 and the time of their relegation in 1986.

 

Jedinstvo appeared in the 1999 UEFA Intertoto Cup.
