Possible Cooperation between potential Investors from Indonesia and Businessmen in Bihac

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Roem Kono, paid a working visit to Bihać today, where he held a meeting with Mayor Elvedin Sedić, where the establishment of business cooperation between potential investors from Indonesia and businessmen in Bihać was initiated.

As the mayor of Bihać stated, the first step would be an online meeting at the beginning of next year, and by connecting them, the possibility for new investments in the city of Bihać opens up.

During the conversation, the tourist potential of the city of Bihać was presented, as well as plans for the improvement of infrastructure, especially the construction of the airport and the improvement of the Una National Park.

“Connecting the two economies through projects such as infrastructure development and tourism, especially through NP Una, was very interesting for our guests. Also, there is a possibility to present certain cultural organizations from Indonesia to the Bihać audience,” Sedić added.

One of the key issues that must be resolved in order to facilitate the arrival of a larger number of tourists from Indonesia is the visa regime for Indonesian citizens, which is currently an obstacle to mass visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Kono expressed his enthusiasm for the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed to significant opportunities for tourism development and economic growth.

“BiH is a wonderful country full of greenery and natural resources, which represents a huge tourism potential and a chance for stronger economic development. It is certainly in our interest to connect our businessmen and yours, and the first step is an online meeting where we would introduce ourselves to each other and see in which fields that cooperation would be most fruitful,” said Ambassador Kono.
