Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Stasa Kosarac spoke on Friday with Director of the Foreign Trade Chamber (VTK) of Bosnia-Herzegovina Vjekoslav Vukovic and his deputies Nemanja Vasic and Ahmet Egrlic.

Minister Kosarac emphasized that the basic commitment of this ministry is to protect domestic production, while respecting international agreements, and to present BiH’s potential, to develop private enterprise and foreign investment.

“The Ministry, respecting the constitutional competences, will serve the economic and business community in this country. Special attention will be paid to the issues of cooperation between the Ministry, the VTK BiH and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) in BiH,” Kosarac said.

The topic of the discussion was the organization of domestic and international fairs, and the interlocutors stated that emphasis should be placed on their effects.

Minister Kosarac said that further efforts should be made in affirming the achieved results of the VTK BiH. The meeting discussed, among other things, the possibility of forming a representative office of the VTK BiH in Brussels and the steps that should be taken in that case.
