A mass shooting in central Prague has left 10 people dead and 30 more people injured.
Armed police were called out to the incident at a university building in Jan Palach Square in the Czech Republic’s capital on Thursday afternoon. Images and videos shared on social media show crowds of people fleeing the scene, with unconfirmed pictures showing chairs used to barricade doors inside the Faculty of Arts of Charles University building.
Prague’s rescue service has confirmed that 11 people have died, including the shooter. It said about 30 others suffered various injuries, including nine seriously, The Independent writes.
