Premier League BiH with 12 Clubs from Season 2016/17

premierleagueExecutive Board members of Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FS BiH) decided to decrease number of participating clubs from 16 to 12 from season 2016/2017, on today’s meeting as reported by Anadolu Agency.

Executive Board of N/FS B&H suggested that Premier League counts 12 teams, and definitive confirmation of the reorganization of competition should be voted by Parliament of Football Association of B&H at sitting on April 16th, 2015.

Furthermore, Executive Board of N/FS B&H made decision while explaining that insurance mechanism of competition regularities will be additionally defined, but entity parliaments will declare about proposition to shorten Premier League of B&H before sitting of Parliament on April 16th.

In accordance with today’s decision a major step has been made for decreasing number of clubs in B&H elite, but the final decision is still obstructed by lower instances of football authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reported Anadolu Agency.
