Preparations for the Jointly Catalog of Companies dealing with the Production and Processing of Fruits and Vegetables

bobicasto_voce_040510Foreign Trade Chamber of  B&H, in cooperation with USAID/ Sida FARMA and SIPPO project, are preparing for a jointly catalog of companies  from B&H dealing with production and processing of  fruits and vegetables.

The catalog will be print until the end of this year in English and German language, and will be distributed through fairs and shopping markets abroad.

B&H annually, in an average amount,exports fruits and vegetables(data from last three years) in values​​ of 66 million KM.

The analyzes  that have done USAID/ Sida FARMA project shows that the third of total exports is realized through the category of frozen fruits, including berries(33 percent), after which follows fresh fruits(23 percent), processed vegetables(19 percent) and fresh vegetables(15 percent).

Currently, the biggest partners of  B&H in this sector are countries of the  Western Europe, Russian Federation, and countries of the region.

The registration of the companies in this catalog is until 30th August.
