The book ‘Sarajevo Assassination’ by Valerijana Žuje will be presented on Thursday, 6 February in the Museum Sarajevo 1878-1918.
The book has three main sections and includes opportunities ahead of the assassination, profiles of major players, preparations by the conspirators, the time of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in Sarajevo, the assassination, transportation of the bodies of the duke and duchess from Vienna to Artšteten, process of assassination, and their fate.
The book will be the main source of information, a practical handbook, not only for the beginning of research, but also for accurate and complete information.
When it came to details, there were no restrictions, because the author felt that there couldn’t be a surplus of facts, even if they were marginal. This book is different from others because other books, in most cases, had a theme, had a specific task or dealt with a specific dimension of the case.
