B&H Ministry of Security in cooperation with IPA 2010 project- Support in the field of law implementation and coordination committee of the B&H Council of Ministers to monitor the implementation of the UN Resolution 1325-Women, Peace, Security is organizing a round table “Presentation of results on the implementation of action plan UN Resolution 1325-Women, peace and security-Appointing of a contact person for gender issues in the sector of security and defense” which will be held on 13 December in Sarajevo.
Representatives of the Commission for Gender equality and B&H Parliamentary Assembly, Ministry of Defense and B&H Armed Forces, Ministry of Security and administrative organizations within ministries, Ministries of Internal Affairs of entities and cantons, the Police of District Brčko, Agency for gender equality in B&H, Gender Centers of Entities, NGO, representatives of EUFOR, OSCE, UN Women in B&H and Delegation of the EU in B&H will participate at this round table.
The aim of the round table is to present experiences and good practices that would serve as a model for appointment of a contact person for gender issues at the Ministry of Security, at the administrative organizations within the ministries, at the ministries of internal affairs of entities and cantons and other agencies of law implementation in B&H, announced B&H Ministry of Security.
