From 1st January 2016. Each new building in the Republic Srpska will have to have an energy certificate, which is in accordance with the international duties of B&H, as said by the Deputy Minister for Physical Planning, Construction and Ecology of the Republic Srpska, Miladin Gacanovic.
“During the technical inspection of the object, an energy certificate will have to be shown, without which the usage permit could not be issued“, explained Gacanovic who participated at the “Seminar on the occurrence in the media and sending messages through the media“ in the field of energy efficiency, which was finished yesterday at Jahorina.
According to his words, this field in the Republic Srpska is regulated with the regulations through the Law on the Physical Planning and Construction, which defined the obligation that each new object has to have an energy certificate.
“When it comes to an existing objects, certificate has to be provided during the bigger reconstruction or works that will be performed in the future“, specified he.
Gacanovic emphasized that the essence of the energy efficiency measures themselves is to reduce the total energy consumption in one object, and to use energy sources from renewable energy sources and modern technical solutions.
“The aim is also to make an object more modern, to improve its quality. All that measures aim to reduce the energy consumption, but not at the expense of the quality and comfort of living“, explained he.
Gacanovic reminded that investors as well are encouraged to reduce their costs with the reduction of the energy consumption, while keeping the comfort of living in their objects.
