The Vice Dean of the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Fikret Karcic, on Thursday held a presentation at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the topic of “Legal Culture”.

Last June, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, signed an Agreement on Scientific, Educational and Professional Cooperation.

According to the Agreement, the Court and the School of Law have defined the first quarterly Calendar of Activities, which specified the steps to be taken for the development of a higher degree of cooperation between the two judicial and educational institutions.

Following an introductory presentation, participating in a discussion with the Vice Dean were judges of the Court, registrar for the Court, general secretary, heads of internal organizational units and professional court staff. This is the fifth such presentation held in the framework of implementation of this segment of the Cooperation Agreement, which will include a series of lectures and presentations by representatives of the Court and the School of Law, concerning selected topics of significance for both theory and practice. The purpose of this type of cooperation is to improve expertise and exchange mutual experiences.

The Court and the School of Law will continue to carry out activities in line with the agreed plan, about which the public will be duly informed.
