Presidency Member presented a new Approach aimed at strong Diplomatic Activity of BiH

During a meeting with Congresswoman Ann Wagner, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, presented a new approach aimed at strong diplomatic activity of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United States of America, and specific activities were agreed upon.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina must pay more attention to activities in the USA. In the previous four years, anti-Bosnian forces worked intensively to weaken Bosnia and Herzegovina’s positions in the US and that must change. Bosnia and Herzegovina must be more strongly represented in the strongest country in the world, and that’s why I want to make smart moves to strengthen that presence in the USA,” said member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović underlined that the citizens of the two countries appreciate and believe in the advantages of a multi-ethnic society, and are guided by the idea of living together, mutual respect and tolerance, and Bosnia and Herzegovina has been based on these ideas and values for hundreds of years.

“Our experience from the past only emphasizes the importance of advocating for the defense of those values. In this sense, concrete help from the USA, which naturally understands the advantages of those values, is of crucial importance for the further development of BiH,” Bećirović believes.

Congresswoman Ann Wagner represents the state of Missouri and is one of the most influential members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Financial Services Committee. From 2005 to 2008, she served as the US ambassador to Luxembourg.

In the early 2000s, she served as co-chair of the National Committee of the Republican Party, and is also a member of the Friends of BiH Club in the American Congress and often says that she represents the largest Bosnian community outside BiH.

He is a co-sponsor of the proposal of the Law that was adopted in the House of Representatives, which states the most important principles that should be followed by the American administration in its policy towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the BiH Presidency.
