The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the invitation to participate in the high-level event “Human Rights 75”, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which will be held in Geneva on December 11 and 12, 2023. The delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be led by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić, the Presidency announced after today’s session.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina received information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the Report of the European Commission – cooperation with FRONTEX.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed the Decision on granting approval for the conclusion of the Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (MVTEOBiH) and the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies – Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Bari (CIHEAM Bari) on the implementation of the project: “Sustainable economic development and protection of the environment in areas with natural limitations in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed the Decision on the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community (EURATOM) and countries that are not members of the European Union on the participation of those countries in Community arrangements for the early exchange of information in the event of a radiological emergency.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the acceptance and designation of signatories for the Agreement between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Union’s Customs Program for Customs Cooperation and the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Korea.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on dismissals, appointments, promotions and retirement of professional military personnel in the post of general in the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the Armed Forces of BiH.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision to extend the participation of the contingent of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Organizational Stabilization Mission of the United Nations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision to extend the participation of the contingent of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received information on the Annual Plan of Training and Exercises of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad for the year 2024.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the disposal of surplus weapons, ammunition and mines and explosive devices of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the “Bukova Greda” location in Orašje.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the acceptance of the agreement and the determination of the signatories for the Loan Agreement (Additional financing for the Integrated Development Program of the Sava and Drina Corridor using a multi-phase program approach) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Agreement on Amendments no. 1. on the Loan Agreement dated April 12, 2022 (Green Cities – 2 Vindov 2 Vodovod Brčko) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on cooperation in the event of disasters .

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a Decision on the initiation of the procedure for conducting negotiations for the conclusion of the Agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of driver’s licenses between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the United Arab Emirates

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Report of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the negotiations so far regarding the delimitation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision on granting approval for the conclusion and designation of signatories for the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts for the provision of data from convictions, the Agreement on technical assistance within the Interreg VI-A IPA program Croatia -Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027, and the Memorandum of Understanding between FIPE and the Council of the People’s Republic of China for the promotion of international trade.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made decisions on the ratification of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of North Macedonia, the Financing Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Srpska and the European Investment Bank (Banja Luka Medical Complex Project), the European Fund for Sustainable Development – EFSD + Dedicated investment framework 1 (FI NO 91.071-SERAPIS 2019-0319), the Agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications of doctors of medicine, doctors of dental medicine and architects in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement, the Agreement on the recognition of higher education qualifications in the Western Balkans, and the Agreement on an investment grant to support the Water Supply and Sanitation Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted the patronage of the 13th International Investment and Business Conference Sarajevo Business Forum, which will be held in Sarajevo from May 21 to 23, 2024.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed a Decision approving the conclusion of the Governance Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Construction and Homeland, represented by the President of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees – BAMF , for financial support of the project “Support to the system of reception and integration of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who return on the basis of the Readmission Agreement – second phase”.

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision that the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić, on behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sent an invitation letter to the head of the Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis, for an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
