The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, held a press conference yesterday after the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the 4th Guards Brigade in Klisthat happened on Thursday. He also used the opportunity to comment on politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
He first commented on the events from Klis and the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic, who was late for the ceremony the day before yesterday.
”The blockade of Sarajevo was broken by the Croatian army, Plenkovic probably doesn’t know that, that’s why he was so rudely late,” Milanovic stated.
Milanovic said that his statement in which he said that he would block Finland’s entry into NATO until the amendments to the Election Law in BiH are adopted, is not blackmail but extortion. When asked by journalists what Croatia’s benefit is from it, he answered ironically.
”No benefit. I think it should all be dissolved, put country on hold, outsourced, actually monetized, and given to others to manage. Croat was sold into slavery. What do we really have to tolerate it? We have no answer. If that’s your question that’s my answer,” he added.
”They made us behave in a way I’m not the proudest. I have nothing against Finland,” Milanovic added, talking about his announcements of a blockade in NATO.
He then spoke about how to solve the problem with electoral reforms in BiH, stating that Bakir Izetbegovic will not lose in that aspect because he is “malicious and corrupt”.
”Who is losing in BiH? Actually, a rather narrow Sarajevo clique is losing. Bakir Izetbegovic cannot lose because he is a representative of Bosniaks, he does not present himself falsely. The claim that BiH is safe while the mosques are full is strange to me, I don’t think Croatia is safe while the churches are full. Let them be full, but it has nothing to do with each other. Nobody goes to church in Denmark and the state has not failed. Bakir Izetbegovic will not lose, he is just vicious and corrupt. I have been saying this lately because there is no other option. Komsic and his gang, which parasitize on the Croatian vote, will lose,” is Milanovic’s conclusion.
