nikolicThe President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, said that the fact that a Serb will be the mayor of the municipality of Srebrenica does not mean that we should forget the crimes committed by Serbs in this municipality.

Nikolic added that the local authorities in Srebrenica should continue to mark the anniversary of the crimes committed in Srebrenica back in 1995, and added that the local government should be solving problems and looking at how to help citizens.

According to previous data of the CEC, the candidate of Serbian democratic parties, Mladen Grujicic, is leading in front of candidate Camil Durakovic.

Nikolic added that he is very pleased that the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) of Milorad Dodik won the elections in the municipalities in Herzegovina as well, and that he expects Herzegovina to be represented in the RS from now on.
