“In comparison with the last year when the companies from the sector of energy and resources were dominating, ASA Prevent appears as the leading private company from the field of production, broad consumption, and services. Prevent Group has been operating in B&H for 20 years, with already 16 years of direct production in B&H. Nowadays, together with ASA Group it employs almost 6.000 workers in B&H and counts more than 12.000 employees globally, and besides automotive industry it operates in the fields of furniture, confection, metal, leather and textile production, and the production of plastic components. Today, Prevent is the synonym for export from B&H, for automotive industry, leather production, and corporate socially responsibility. The clear vision of further development is adopted and only under the leadership of the Supervisory Board of the Prevent Group we could achieve the present and create a path towards realization of future goals”, said Jazvin.
What the Prevent Group is especially recognizable for in B&H is the production of components for the leading world car manufacturers such as Ford, VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, BMW, Opel, Nissan, Citroen, Peugeot, and others. Prevent also produces car upholstery and all components for seats and interiors in the means of transport, as well as leather, textile, brake discs, seat structures, break system components, metal parts for engines, transmission systems, and the drive of vehicles.
What is interesting is that Prevent delivers components for over four million vehicles which are produced in Europe annually, i.e. every fourth car in Europe possesses a component of Prevent produced in the plants in B&H.
“Besides the automotive industry, our products might be found in luxury stores of famous world fashion brands such as Pierre Cardin, Eduard Dressler, Digel, and others. Moreover, we export interiors for the yacht manufacturers in Europe and mega brands such as Hugo Boss”, Jazvin pointed out.
The Chairman of the Board of Prevent BH says that Prevent has been establishing pre-conditions for further development for years and reminds that they have been present in Gorazde for four years prior to the launching of car upholstery production, which now employs more than 1.100 workers.
