The final phase of a construction of the modern facility “Prevent Components”, one of the factories in the possession of “Prevent Group”, is taking place in the village Vitkovici near Gorazde.

The new factory will occupy space of 10,800 square meters and it will be specialized in the production and processing of plastic and polyurethane, according to the President of the Board of “Prevent BiH”, Haris Rahman.

“This is an expansion of the production portfolio of “Prevent Components”, whose aim is to position itself among the leaders in this sector for the auto industry. Investment is the main part of the vertical integration strategy, where we offer the ultimate product to our final customers in one place. We have only worked on the processing of the plastic so far, and with this investment, we are able to offer plastic components according to specific customer requests and the most modern world standards. There is an entire range of products, i.e. components, for the interior of vehicles. The idea is realized on the basis of the development plans of some of the leading producers in the auto industry,” noted Rahman.

We are planning the opening of about 200 new workplaces, with plans for a further increase in the number of employees. The latest technology will be used in production, and a great part of the process will be based on machine processing, and therefore, the company will need a skilled workforce.

“Prevent will export products from this facility to China. Leading global brands are increasingly requesting products from Europe, which represents a great chance for us, as well as other domestic companies to get maximally engaged and use these opportunities,” said Rahman.
