Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic announced that he and the state secretary and Head of the State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, Zvonko Milas, will be staying in BiH “in the upcoming days”.

Today, Plenkovic will be visiting Zepce, Tuzla, and Orasje, and visits to Livno, Siroki Brijeg and Mostar are scheduled for later. In the budget of Croatia, as every year, were allocated financial resources for the support of projects and programs of interest for the Croatian people in BiH in the amount of 23.5 million HRK (around 6.2 million BAM).

The Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Decision on the allocation of resources for funding cultural, educational, scientific, healthcare and other programs and projects of interest to the Croatian people in BiH, on Thursday, August 31, 2017.

“We will present some of these projects and further agree on cooperation and the way to continue helping Croats in BiH, who are constitutive people there,” said Plenkovic in his announcement of a visit to BiH.

It is planned for the Prime Minister Plenkovic to talk to the Mayor Mato Zovko in Zepce, and then to visit the industrial zone in this town. In Tuzla is planned a meeting with members of the coordination of Croatian and Catholic associations of Tuzla Canton and a visit to the construction site of the Croatian Cultural Center “Sveti Franjo”.

Plenkovic should end his one-day visit in Orasje, where he will attend the opening of the festival “Days of Croatian Films”.
