The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the good and friendly relations between Austria and our country and emphasized their full commitment to strengthening them in the coming period as well. It was pointed out that Austria is in the first place in terms of investments in BiH, and that it occupies a significant position when it comes to exports from our country.

Austrian unquestionable support for BiH’s Euro-Atlantic path, as well as the policies of adopting compromise solutions, and BiH reforms recently intensified by the adoption of laws that are a condition for opening negotiations for joining the European Union (EU) was also pointed out.

”Austria’s support on the European and NATO path of BiH is unquestionable. Austria is our true friend, our strategic partner, and I believe it will remain so. Partnership with you is of great importance for us when it comes to foreign trade and foreign policy,” Mijatovic pointed out.

Governor Kaiser expressed his satisfaction with the existence of a framework for deepening economic cooperation and added that he will continue to do everything in the future to improve this cooperation more significantly. He also announced that at the November conference of the Council of Federal Governors of Austria, he will present a report on this visit to our country, in which he will emphasize the importance of strengthening economic cooperation, ideas of togetherness, as well as the importance of continuing to contribute so that BiH becomes a full member of the EU as soon as possible, Biznis Info reports.
