Albert_II_Prince_of_Monaco(1)“Sport is an ideal opportunity to connect countries and people as well as to  raise awareness of the need to preserve the environment” – said Prince Albert of Monaco in Banja Luka.

Invited by Nebojša Radmanović, the member of the Presidency of B&H and the honorary president of the Organization board of the European Championship for juniors in kayaking and canoeing on wild rivers “Banja Luka – Vrbas 2014”, Prince Albert arrived yesterday in Banja Luka.

They have both evaluated this Championship as a great opportunity to promote peace and to establish cooperation between countries and people.

Prince Albert, who is about to deliver valuable prizes to the most successful competitors said that he is delighted to see all beauty of our country.

He expressed his wish for the two countries to cooperate even better in the future.

Radmanović confirmed that Prince Albert’s visit is related to the Championship.

During the meeting they had exchanged opinions on fighting to build a better environment together.

“Prince Albert is well known as a peace activist, involved in the matters of creating a more healthy environment and a big fan of sports.” – said Radmanović at the press conference after the meeting with Prince Albert.
