Production of drinking Milk increased by 12.1 Percent in BiH

In June 2019 the number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 7,62% and sheep by 11,01%, while the number of slaughtered pigs increased by 14,53% and poultry by 9,78% in relation with the same period of 2018.

The net weight of slaughtered cattle increased by 0,12% of slaughtered pigs by 27,49% and of slaughtered poultry by 16,92%, while the net weight of slaughtered sheep decreased by 18,18% in relation with the same period of 2018.

In June of 2019, the total amount of collected cow’s milk increased by 0,2% in relation with the same period of 2018. Production of drinking milk increased by 12,1%, acidified milk by 1,4% and butter and other yellow fat products by 28,4%, while the production of cream decreased by 6,2% and cow’s cheese by 7,3% in relation with the same period of 2018.

The total amount of milk fat decreased by 1,6%, while the total amount of milk protein remained on the same level in relation with the same period of 2018.

The number of eggs placed in hatcheries in June of 2019 decreased by 4,93% in relation with the same period of 2018.
The total number of hatched day-old chicken in hatcheries during June of 2019 decreased by 4,03% in relation with the same period of 2018.
