He said that a total of 852 measures were considered in the first three months of 2016, which represents significant increase in the efficiency of the work of the Government, and the average of considered measures per session increased by one third compared to the last quarter of 2015.

He said that the intensity of work and productivity of the Government of FBiH were above the results of the Government of RS for that period.

Telic stated that the Work Program for the current year is both ambitious and well-structured, but it is not fully aligned with the budget.

They also emphasized the need for laws to be adopted in the regular procedure, although the government’s efforts to speed up the process can be understood, because citizens expect more efficient government as well.

The representative of the CCI, Lejla Deronja-Suljic, believes that the Parliament of FBiH worked more intensively in the last quarter of 2015 compared to the first quarter of 2016, when 10 laws were finalized in both Houses.

She emphasized that the budget for 2016 was adopted at the time, and that it was higher for 230 million BAM or 10.7 % than last year’s.

“For the first time in one analyzed period all the sessions were held regularly, and emergency procedures have not been used in the implementation of the laws,” she explained.
