schlachtfeld-erinnerung-poster(1)A workshop during which participants prepared a show with one local and one German or Austrian actor was held n late February, beginning of March 2014 at the Center for Cultural Decontamination in Belgrade. The same kind of workshop is currently being held in Sarajevo at the Sarajevo War Theater “SARTR”, followed by a public performance of the play.

Actors Damjan Kecojević and Lajoš Talamonti participated in the project in Belgrade, while actors Benjamin Bajramović and Armin Vizer and the director of the Sarajevo War Theater Nihad Kreševljaković participated in this project in Sarajevo.

Most of the Germans thoughts were about the conflict in the Western front on the commemoration of the First World War. The German collective memory is marked by a show based on the novel “Nothing new in the West” of Erich Maria Remarques and “Steel Storm ” of Ernst Jüngers.

More information on the project can be found on : http://www.goethe.de/ins/ba/sar/kul/sup/eri/bs12635405v.htm

Presentation will be held on Friday 02.05.2014, at 20:00, at SARTR.

The entrance is free of charge.
