Promotion of Investment opportunities of BiH held in Malaysia

malaysiaOn 12th January, Ambassador of BiH in Malaysia, Emir Hadžikadinić, gave a presentation on the promotion of business and investment opportunities of BiH in Kuala Lumpur.

The Malaysian National Agency for Trade (MATRADE) and Embassy of BiH in Kuala Lumpur organized a presentation of business and investment opportunities in BiH for 170 leading commercial entities of Malaysia.

Ambassador Hadžikadunić held a one-hour presentation on business and investment opportunities in BiH. In the presentation, Ambassador emphasized the sectors of tourism, energy and agriculture. Moreover,the ambassador spoke about the treatment of foreign investors, the long tradition of industrial production, the availability of natural resources, and hydropower projects for the construction of solar and wind parks in BiH. In particular, he mentioned Bosnian products whose prices have the potential competitiveness on the market of Malaysia.

Dato Dzulkifli Mahmud, the director general of MATRADE, emphasized that the friendly relations of BiH and Malaysia are a good foundation for the higher level of cooperation in terms of trade between the two countries.

Ambassador Hadžikadunić invited entrepreneurs of Malaysia to take part in this year’s Sarajevo Business Forum, which will take place on 22nd and 23rd May this year, and thanked the Government of Malaysia for its continued support and assistance to BiH.
