korak_do_olimpijadeThe book ‘Korak do Olimpijade’ by Haris Fazlagić was promoted in Sarajevo. He wrote about all aspects of the organization of the European Youth Olympics (EYOF), which will be held in Sarajevo and East Sarajevo in 2017. In his speech, he pointed out that this is the biggest post-war sporting project in B&H that would unite all of B&H.

‘’Hosting EYOF is a step towards the Olympics, which is the name of my book, and speaks about not only the youth Olympics, but also the senior Olympics. The successful organization of EYOF would open the door for us for bigger competitions. We have to send out a positive image of B&H to the world, which would put Sarajevo and this country on the world map of winter tourism’’, explained Fazlagić.

He added that 2017 is rapidly approaching, but not enough attention is being paid to this event.

‘’EYOF project is rarely mentioned, as if we did not get one of the biggest events for young athletes in Europe. It is what prompted me to write this book. We have to exert positive pressure on the government because now is the time to begin to seriously work on the implementation of this project’’, said Fazlagić.
