Acting prosecutors of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office proposed to the Sarajevo Municipal Court that the suspects Kemo Zilić, Adil Mulić, Esad Zajka, Zehrid Hasanović, Mustafa Balaš and Fendi Zuka, who were arrested in the “Abstergo” operation, be detained for one month.
Their detention was proposed due to the danger that the suspects could influence witnesses, hide evidence, obstruct the criminal proceedings and repeat the crime if they were at liberty.
For eight suspects who are under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office in that case, more precisely, for seven members of the examination commission and the owner of the driving school, the prosecutors proposed prohibitive measures. And that is a ban on performing tasks related to taking driving tests in all authorities on the territory of BiH, a ban on mutual contact and meetings, and a ban on the same with witnesses, according to a statement from the Canton Sarajevo Prosecutor’s Office.
Police officers of the Police Department of the MoI of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of acting KS prosecutors, implemented the “Abstergo” operation, with the aim of documenting criminal acts of abuse of position or authority and receiving gifts and other forms of benefit.
