Provocation in Zvornik: Young Footballers escorted by Displaying Stickers of Convicted War Criminals

After the championship match against Drina in Zvornik, the junior and cadet teams of FK Radnički from Lukavac had an unpleasant experience. The bus they took to the match after the match was covered with stickers depicting war criminal Ratko Mladić, which caused outrage in the club and harsh condemnation from the public.

“This is how our juniors and cadets were escorted out of the championship match they played against Drina in Zvornik. We strongly condemn the attempt at cheap provocation by the hosts, and additional comments on something like this are not necessary,” said FK Radnički Lukavac.

This incident once again raised the issue of the responsibility of the organizers and the host clubs, while reminding us that sport must remain a space of respect and fair play, and not a training ground for insults and political messages.
