Public broadcasters will broadcast scenes from everyday life in the EU

Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Renzo Davidi and the leaders of three public broadcasting systems in BiH signed in Sarajevo an Agreement on Cooperation related to the project of production and broadcasting of news about the EU and the European path of BiH.

Daviddi said: ” The EU advocates free and independent media in all countries, including BiH. So, it gives me great pleasure to directly cooperate with the public broadcasters on this small project.”

He added that a series of short video clips about the EU that will be broadcasted on public broadcasters in BiH.

”This is an outstanding project that will inform our citizens what are the benefits and rights that we gain by becoming a member of the EU, and also what are our obligations, which we sometimes forget”, said BHRT editor Olivera Dodig.

She added that BHRT has plans to enrich its program with more EU related articles, in order to show the citizens of BiH the lifestyle in the EU.

Manager of FTV (RTV of FBiH) Džemal Šabić said that FTV has a dominant role in creating the public opinion. Šabić added that two million FTV viewers will be able to see how healthy democracy and freedom of speech works.

Manager of RTRS Dragan Davidović said that the values that the EU is trying to broadcast to citizens of BiH are very valuable, and RTRS hopes to give the citizens everything that may concern them in relation to the EU.
