In recent days, Qatar has been the world center of football, but also of numerous other events due to the World Cup being played in this country. However, they did not forget the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

At one of the main locations of Doha, in Lusail, not far from the central stadium where the World Cup final will be played, the flags of BiH and Qatar have been projected onto two buildings.

Also, a congratulation was sent to BiH on the occasion of November 25th – Statehood Day. At the invitation of the State of Qatar and the organizers of the World Cup, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Bisera Turkovic, recently visited this country and had meetings with officials.

Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani sent a congratulatory telegram to Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day, and Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent a congratulatory message to Chairman of the BiH Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic.

To recall, numerous countries of the world and their leaders sent congratulations on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the restoration of the statehood of BiH.

On November 25th, 1943, the first session of the State Anti-Fascist Council of People’s Liberation of BiH was held in the town of Mrkonjic, which is a date that is celebrated as the Statehood Day of our country, Klix.ba reports.
