Questionable Match between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray in Riyad?

Just a few hours before the start of the Turkish Super Cup between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray in Riyadh, a real drama started, and the actual playing of the game is under question.

The match should start at 18:45, but the organizers of the match offended the representatives of the Turkish giants and they are thinking about canceling the match.

Namely, as reported by Akşamspor, the Saudis do not allow players to enter the field wearing T-shirts with the image of the founder of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray wanted to pay tribute to Atatürk on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the founding of Turkey, but the Saudis not only forbade them to wear T-shirts with the image of the father of the nation, but also did not want to sing the Turkish national anthem before the match.

And while the leaders of the clubs have come to terms with not wearing shirts, they do not want to go beyond not singing the national anthem and have scheduled a crisis meeting where they will make the final decision on playing the game.

“I would like to remind you of the words of our ancestors: ‘Peace at home, peace in the world.’ Ali Koç.

More information about whether the match will be played will be known soon.
