Radoicic took Responsibility for the Events in the North of Kosovo

Yesterday, Milan Radoicic took responsibility for the events in Banjska, Kosovo on September 24th, expressed his readiness to respond to the competent authorities of Serbia, and resigned from the position of vice-president of the Serb List. His lawyer Goran Petronijevic read his message in which he stated that he came to the north of Kosovo on September 24th with his compatriots that he personally made all the logistical preparations, and that he did not inform anyone from the authorities in Serbia, nor from the structures of the authorities in the north of Kosovo.

As he said, he did not receive any help from the authorities in Serbia, because “by then they already had different views on the methods of resistance.” He added that the action that day had nothing to do with his political involvement in the Serb List.

“Moreover, Radoicic stated that the reason for returning to the north of Kosovo was to “encourage the Serbian people to resist the regime of the Prime Minister of Kosovo”. As he stated, the death of the Kosovo police officer happened by accident, after which a fierce conflict took place. “They are persecuting the Serbian people with the desire to cleanse Kosovo and Metohija, and that is why we were forced to act and draw attention to the fact that we will not tolerate this kind of Kurti’s terror,” Radoicic stated in his letter.

He claims that the police officer was killed by accident. “Our three comrades died, their sacrifice will not be forgotten,” Radoicic emphasized, stressing that “they are not terrorists, but freedom fighters”. He also stated that he resigned from the position of vice-president of the Serb List.

“I am ready to respond to the summon of the competent authorities,” Radoicic concluded in his letter, Federalna reports.
