Works on the realization of a historically important infrastructure project for the Municipality of Visoko, the extension of the city water supply network, started yesterday in the settlement Prijeko in Visoko.

This is one of the most important dates for the citizens of the municipality of Visoko, and it represents the crown of the four years of work and efforts of the executive and legislative authorities to create the preconditions for this important project, which is solving the issue of water supply for other 12,000 citizens of the Municipality Visoko.

They are planning to solve the primary water supply system in the first settlement, that is Cekrekcije, in two months, and after that, the secondary water supply network will be finished around the New Year when users in Cekrekcije will already have city water on their faucets.

“We have created all the technical preconditions for the realization of this project, and we also created material assumptions and provided the necessary funds,” stated Mayor of Visoko, Amra Babic.

She noted that they are sure that with the planned dynamics, which is 36 months, they will be able to finish everything in time and that the project will be completed within the scheduled period and they will be ready for the implementation of the second, third and fourth phases.

The spring Vrutak will be revitalized within the second and third stage, and in the last phase, they will deal with Mostre and water supply to the four local communities that are currently without the water supply.

This large project for the municipality of Visoko should ensure the establishment of a unique drinking water supply system for all 40,000 citizens in the upcoming years.
