airportThis is an important day for Sarajevo International Airport since the figure of 700.000 passengers is the best ever realized in history of the company.  It should be mentioned that the last year, 2013, Sarajevo Airport ended with the record figure of 665.638 passengers.

Dino Omerspahić from Zenica, who took the Austrian Airlines flight from Sarajevo to Vienna, is the jubilant 700.000th passenger recorded at Sarajevo International Airport.

Director of Sarajevo International Airport, Mr.  Ivan Veličan, presented the jubilant 700.000th passenger with a gift coupon for purchase in the airport’s Duty Free Shop, while the Austrian Airlines representative, Mr. Ismar Ibrahimović, gifted this passenger a return air ticket Sarajevo-Vienna.

On this occasion director Veličan expressed his satisfaction over the fact that a new, jubilant record related to number of passengers has been achieved, as well as his belief that this trend of successful business will continue in the forthcoming year of 2015.
