Record Number of Bank Accounts of Business Entities in Bosnia

At the end of February, 97,223 accounts of business entities were blocked in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is 521 more than at the end of January, according to updated data on blocked accounts of business entities published by the Central Bank of BiH.

The report also states that 52,792 companies have blocked at least one account, which is 355 companies more than at the end of the first month.

This monthly report on blocked accounts in the Bank’s Register of Transaction Accounts, which contains 3,900 pages, as well as previously mentioned legal entities from various fields, including companies, associations, sports and health organizations and entities performing service activities.

Accounts blocked in January Last month, ie at the end of January, 96,702 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 52,437 companies had at least one account blocked.

The first report in 2012 In the first report of the Central Bank, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
