This week, the Neretva River becomes a stage for a spectacle as, from Thursday, 24 world-class athletes will dive in front of thousands of spectators beneath the Stari Most, with a live TV broadcast worldwide.

Mostar will once again host one of the biggest sporting events in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Ten years after it first came to our country, this prestigious sporting event is being held for the ninth time at the Stari Most and on the Neretva River. Spectators in Mostar, as well as around the world, can expect top sporting moments as the 24 best male and female divers perform breathtaking acrobatics.

Competition program: Thursday, September 4th – first round of dives live from the Stari Most, in honor of the century-old Mostar tradition of diving; Friday, September 5th, from 2 p.m. – second and third rounds of dives from the Red Bull Cliff Diving platform set up on the Stari Most. Female divers will dive from a height of 21 meters, and male divers from 27 meters; Saturday, September 6th, from 3:30 p.m. – fourth and final round, with an additional entertainment program for the audience, and the winners’ announcement scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

A spectacle in Mostar and for viewers worldwide

The entire event can be followed live in Mostar, where entry is free. Organizers recommend that spectators arrive on time and secure their place, as a large number of visitors are expected.

For those who will not be in Mostar, the competition will be broadcast live on the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series YouTube channel on Friday, and on Saturday on Red Bull TV, as well as on Hayat Television in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Red Bull Cliff Diving in Mostar is not just a sporting event; it is a combination of the world’s sporting elite and rich local tradition, which has thrilled audiences for years and placed Mostar on the map of the most attractive destinations for this sport, Klix.ba writes
