Registration of Vehicles: Instead of Stickers will be issued Certificates

vehiclesYesterday at the session, the Council of Ministers of B&H was informed by the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of B&H on the existence of the possibility of problems regarding the supply of internal and external stickers as one of the documents in the process of registration of motor vehicles.

Assessment of this agency state that they could run out of the stickers in January next year due to extremely long appeal process that the Procurement Review Body of B&H is conducting.

Council of Ministers of B&H entrusted the Ministry of Transport and Communications in order for the timely resolution of this issue to prepare and submit to the Council of Ministers a proposal for amendment of legislation that would allow issuing of confirmations during the vehicle registration, which would replace the sticker labels until the completion of the procurement of stickers.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of B&H will prepare analysis of the possibilities of introducing electronic model of monitoring of registered vehicles and permanent discontinuation of stickers and will submit it to the Council of Ministers of B&H on consideration.
