The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Radovan Viskovic, confirmed that the entity government will adopt the decision on lifting the state of emergency in RS tomorrow and will send it to the National Assembly of the RS for consideration.

A consultative session of the Collegium of the Entity Parliament was held in Banja Luka today, and the date of the session of the special session regarding the lifting of the state of emergency is expected, according to Avaznews portal.

On March 28, the NARS adopted a decision to declare a state of emergency in RS due to the coronavirus epidemic, and it came into force at the beginning of April.

Today, Prime Minister Viskovic visited the University Clinical Center of the RS in Banja Luka and pointed out that the RS has shown that with good organization it can respond to the crisis caused by the spread of coronavirus infection.

“At no time was any health institution in RS in a situation where it could not accept patients,” said Viskovic, pointing to the huge contribution of medical workers in the fight against the coronavirus, as well as the fact that there were no infected people in the COVID department of the UCC workers.

He claims that the RS government has invested more than 100 million BAM in that sector in the last two months.
