Specialist rescue teams continue the search for missing persons in the area of Konjic and Jablanica. In addition to the home team, there are also teams from neighboring countries on the field.
A large number of volunteers have been engaged in both municipalities to help deliver food, medicine and other necessities, the Operational Center of Civil Protection of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton announced.
The containers that have arrived in the area of Konjica are placed in designated safe places for the accommodation of the vulnerable. The supply of food, medicine and basic necessities is proceeding smoothly.
With the help of heavy machinery, the regional road Ostrožac – Parsovići – Fojnica (R437) is being repaired. The repair of the local roads Buturović Polje – Seonica – Višnjevice, Kralupi – Trešnjevice will take a long time, it is stated.
According to information from the OCCZ Jablanica, the electricity supply is still interrupted in certain areas of the municipality, and work is being done to eliminate faults.
The same is the case with water supply, mobile and landline telephony.
Road communication with neighboring municipalities, as well as with certain inhabited places in the area of the municipality of Jablanica, is interrupted.
Also, work is being done on the rehabilitation and cleaning of roads, BHRT writes.
