A convoy of vehicles from the Mountain Rescue Service of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (GSS FBiH) and the Federal Specialized Unit for Rescue from Ruins – USAR of the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) arrived in Sarajevo from Turkey yesterday in the afternoon.

As announced by the GSS FBiH, after crossing the border, part of the group separated towards Gorazde, while the rest of the column passed through Sarajevo, around 3:30 p.m.

On the square, across from the Town Hall, they were briefly greeted and welcomed by colleagues, friends, family, and fellow citizens.

After passing through Sarajevo, the teams from Konjic, Mostar, Zenica, Zavidovici, Jajce, Kakanj, Tuzla, and Brcko continue on to their cities.

To recall, members of the Federal Specialized Unit for Rescue from Ruins – USAR team of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection (FUCZ) and the Mountain Rescue Service of the FBiH participated in rescue operations in the Hatay province of Turkey in the previous days after the devastating earthquake that hit the south of this country on February 6th.

They were expected yesterday around 4 pm at the Center for demining and UXO removal operations in Azici in Ilidza, Klix.ba reports.
