Residents of BiH drank Alcoholic Beverages in the Amount of 291 Million BAM!

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 172.9 million liters of alcoholic beverages, worth 207.6 million BAM were imported last year.

This data was confirmed for “Avaz” newspapers from the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of BiH.

It is evident that the import of alcohol into BiH is evident, as compared to 2017 and 2016 the import of beer, wine and brandy in the last year has increased by about 20 million BAM!

In the first six months of this year, ITA registered imports of 74.9 million liters of alcohol valued 83.8 million BAM.

This means that in a year and a half, alcohol worth about 291 million BAM was imported in BiH!

Beer is at the top of the list of favorite drinks, and last year we imported it for 125.6 million BAM! From January until today, residents of BiH gave additional 48.3 million BAM for beer.
