Many residents of Sarajevo were disturbed after the siren sounded at 12:00 today.

The operational center of Civil Protection of Sarajevo Canton explained that an error had occurred.

Namely, the sirens sounded on July 11 at 12 noon, on the occasion of the memory of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica, so by mistake they remained programmed for today, a month later.

The operational center of the cantonal Civil Protection remained “overwhelmed” with calls from citizens regarding this case.

During the siege of Sarajevo, sirens were used to alert the residents.
