Government calls Citizens to Visit the Rich Cultural Program for Independence Day

At the Alija Izetbegovic Liberation Square, with various events and activities, the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be marked.

Organized by the Sarajevo Canton Government and the Bosnian Cultural Center, the events will take place from 13:00 to 15:00 o’clock, in the festive ceremonies and in the festive atmosphere, there will be preschool and school choirs, young dancers and singers, folklore ensembles, with recitals and video presentations, and will entertain everyone who decides to participate.

In addition to the stage performances, other interesting and entertaining facilities will be on the square. At the same location, in the evening, the GONZO band concerts will take place from 19:00 to 20:00 o’clock, and the group REGINA will sing from 20:00 to 21:30 o’clock.

Delegation of Canton Sarajevo will lay flowers and pay tribute to all the victims of aggression in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The solemn ceremony will take place at 19:00 o’clock in the City Hall, and will be attended by members of the BiH Presidency, members of BiH Council of Ministers, representatives of both Houses of Parliament of the Federation BiH, Federation President and Vice Presidents, as well as members of the Government of FBiH, Assembly and Government of Canton Sarajevo, representatives of City Council and City Administration of Sarajevo councils and municipalities, as well as vice versa and other non-governmental organizations.
