Rich Program Today for International Friendship Festival in Goražde

gorazdeThe literary and artist program will continue the XVI International Friendship Festival in Goražde today, which is being held from 9-16 August.

According to the program of the festival, a collection of poetry called “The Focus of Life” by Marina Bakić, as well as the storybook ‘Man under the tombstone’ by Mustafa Smajlović.

There will also be a play “Mrs. Minister” of the amateur theatre “Neretva” from Konjic, and directed by Sejo Fišić.

A night of Sevdah and folk music will take place today.

The International Friendship Festival has been gathering artists from all over the world for 16 years.

An integral part of the festival this year as well is the International Art Colony “Colors of Friendship”.

Until now, around 300 artists passed through this column, and donated more than 600 works to Goražde.

A significant part of this year’s festival are the meetings of young artists from Goražde, France, Palestine and Germany, the fair for traditional crafts with a number of exhibitors from the region and the presentation of folklore ensembles from BIH.
