Rijad Djulic, a graduate of the First Gymnasium in Sarajevo, passed away at the age of 19. Many friends, colleagues, and other people he knew said goodbye to him.

Also, his school colleagues from the First Gymnasium said goodbye to Rijad on Facebook.

“There was an unspeakable silence in the corridors of First Gymnasium today, ” they said yesterday.

With disbelief and then with immense grief, we received the news that our student, a graduate of the IVe grade, Rijad Djulic, had left us.

For ages, the First Gymnasium did not have a more difficult and painful day in which a youth, life, love, and dreams were finished…

Don’t blame us for not being able to describe with words all the pain we feel today…

We express our sincere condolences to the family and sympathize with their pain.

”Wonderful Bosnian boy, may you rest in peace! ”, they wrote from this school.

The swimming club “Sport Time”, of which Rijad was a member, also said goodbye to him.

“Our Rijad is gone now,” they wrote on Facebook.

The funeral was held yesterday at the Faletici 2 cemetery, and it started at 3 p.m.

Rijad fell ill with a rare disease, aplastic anemia, a few years ago, so fellow citizens gathered with family and friends to help with fundraising.
