What is the Road Condition in BiH?

roadIn the larger part of BiH, traffic is being conducted on dry and in some places wet roads. There is an increased danger of escarpment in sections which pass through notches, so the drivers are urged to drive maximally carefully on all roads, stated the BIHAMK.

There are no extraordinary limitations on the motorway A1. Due to construction of a viaduct, the loop Mahovljani on the highway Banja Luka-Bosanska Gradiška is closed for traffic. Drivers are recommended to use the loop Aleksandrovac or the highway M16.

Due to landslide, prohibition for traffic of freight vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons and buses is still on force on the highway M5 Sarajevo Transit. Remaining vehicle categories use the road interchangeably, in one lane, with temporary suspensions of traffic lasting for up to 30 minutes.

There are also shorter retentions on other sections where works are being conducted. Temporary road signalization is placed on those sections. Following sections are singled out: Kobiljača-Kiseljak, Šićki Brod-Srebrenik, Gračanica-Lukavac, Priboj-Simin Han and Ključ-Sanski Most.
